Bookkeeper

About The Company:

Our client, a growing business in Hastings is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis.

 

The Role:

As a bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our client’s financial records and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
• Process and manage payments to suppliers and clients
• Assist with monthly reconciliations of bank statements and accounts
• Prepare financial reports and assist in the development of budgets
• Collaborate with colleagues to streamline financial processes and support overall financial operations

 

Desirable Skills:

• At least 2 years’ experience in Bookkeeping
• AAT Qualifications are desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and proactive approach to problem solving
