My client is a leading secondary school, looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to lead on promoting the implementation of a marketing & communication strategy that primarily focuses on maximising recruitment of students to the school, whilst also enhancing the school’s relationship with current parents and the wider local community. The role combines both strategic thinking with proactive marketing activity.
You’ll support the school's strategic growth by collaborating with leadership to develop a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy, consistently promoting the school’s brand across digital and traditional channels. This includes managing a yearly marketing plan, identifying PR opportunities, and overseeing the school website. You’ll ensure cohesive, branded messaging in all internal and external communications, manage outreach to parents and the community. You’ll proactively engage with local businesses and organisations, looking to forge partnerships to enhance the schools wider offering for its students. You additionally support the planning and promotion of school events and student activities, ensuring a positive experience for attendees and tracking feedback to improve future strategies.
Ideally with a marketing degree or similar, you’ll bring direct experience of developing and executing successful social, digital and traditional marketing strategies, whether that is within the education sector or outside of it. You will certainly want to be proactive, with a passion for showcasing the benefit of cohesive branding, PR and communication strategies.
The role is offered as a permanent position, working during term time and three further weeks within the school holidays.
