Senior Finance Officer

My client is a Crystal Palace based school looking for a Senior Finance Officer to join their Finance Team on an initial 6 month basis.

You’ll offer financial processing support service on a day to day basis to enable the finance team to run smoothly, efficiently and effectively. Working with the Finance Manager, you’ll help prepare information for the monthly management accounts and all associated income and expenditure management and reporting. You’ll be responsible for processing of all various journals on the finance system (cash book, manual, VAT) and have excellent IT skills especially with Excel.

This role could be an ideal opportunity for someone currently working as a Finance Officer or similar, within an educational setting, looking to make step up and develop under the tutorage of a supportive qualified, Finance Manager.  

Applicants will ideally be AAT qualified (or similar) with exposure to working within the schools sector.

Hybrid working opportunities are on offer with this role.  Although initially a contract role, there is very a much a long-term opportunity here.
