Part-time Bookkeeper (3-6m Contract)

About The Client

We are thrilled to be partnering with an established logistics business in Sittingbourne, known for their efficient operations and exceptional customer service.

The Role

Our client is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team for 3 days a week on a temporary basis for the duration of around 3-6 months. This role offers £15 - £20 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing accounts up to trial balance and sending them on to the external accountants using Sage.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and statements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
• Bring accounts up to trial balance for review by external accountants.
• Support the business with additional finance tasks when necessary.

Desirable Skills

• Strong experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills.
