The successful candidate will join a small but supportive team, working alongside another Accounts Assistant and reporting directly to the Head of Finance. The Role: As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the finance team, handling a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers
- Preparing management reports
- Handling VAT returns
- Conducting credit control
- Processing payroll
- Managing employee expenses
Desirable Skills:- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar finance role
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks
- Strong experience with transactional accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software, ideally Xero
- A good working knowledge of Excel
