We are thrilled to be partnering with an established home improvements company in Crowborough who are looking for an Accounts Manager to join their team due to the upcoming retirement of their current Finance Director.

The Role

Our client is seeking an Accounts Manager to take responsibility for all finance operations and report directly into the Managing Director. This role is ideal for individuals eager to take on a leadership position in finance within a vibrant company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Oversee reconciliations and ensure accurate matching of accounts.
• Take charge of month-end closing procedures and compliance requirements, including VAT and CIS.
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers regarding financial queries.
• Budgeting and forecasting, including monthly reporting to management.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in an Accounts/Finance Manager role is desirable.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
